RELATED: Civilization VI Now Available For Free Through Epic Games StoreĪccording to Gamespot, the Ethiopia Pack will also introduce new buildings, a new district and a new mode for players who own the Rise and Fall or Gathering Storm expansions called "Secret Societies." In this mode, a player can receive bonuses and special diplomatic options by discovering a secret society. Yeah a third expansion hasn't been done before, but neither has a new civ game ever finished with fewer civs than it's predecessor. Its unique mechanics - such as the leader's agenda, civilization ability and unique unit - have yet to be announced. We're still missing some real must-have civs (Portugal, Babylon, Maya), plus I believe Civ 6 actually has fewer civs post-GS than V did (I count 42 after GS and 43 in Civ V complete). The Ethiopia Pack, a new DLC for the game, will feature Ethiopia as a playable civilization.Įthiopia will become the 45th civilization featured in the game, and its leader will be the early 20th century Ethiopian emperor Menelik II.
Subscribing to the whole run (40/£33) will net you six packs, with one being released roughly every two months: The first of was released in May 2020.
As announced in May 2020, the next phase of Civ 6s DLC policy will involve a run of smaller packs. Civilization VIhas added another civilization to its roster. Also included are a new Natural and World Wonder, a new map and an all-new scenario.
